i know its best to knock a few dergrees off when your setting the timing for when the N2O is activated. i was just wondering if the retarded timing is set to run all the time, or when the n2o kicks in????

thanks Chris.

I guess a lot depends how big a shot you intend using, and the spec of the engine.

A few years back I used a 75 dry shot on a Hyundai Coupe. Didnt/wasnt able to do anything with the timing. It ran fine.

was thinking about pushing bigger than that. is there a way of retaring the timing with a manual switch so you can have the N/A side set up right, and still good/safe timing for when the N2o is in???

im just tyring to lurn more aobut the stuff really. hear loads of guys in the US running 200+bhp shots on there stock LS1 shortbolcks and it holding fine!

you not thought of running a little gas steve??

Chris.

75 on an engine with only 150bhp, isnt small either.

There are many things that allow you to retard the timing. Of course, depends what engine you are talking about !!!!!!!!!

Ive thought.....still thinking.
