Ford CVH engines

Can anyone tell me if the CVH 1800 engine fitted to the Sierra was based on the same block as the the smaller variants in FWD cars.

The reason I ask is that I need a sump for a Zetec conversion and know that the 1800 CVH sump will fit but am unsure about the others. I don't want to buy one and find it doesn't fit.

Any help would be appreciated.

Don't take my word for it but as far as i'm aware, the 1.8 was only available in RWD format, therefore the sump is different.
