replacement engine for tvr griffith

Hello
I would like to replace the engine/ drivetrain in a tvr griffith 500.

does anyone have any ideas on suitable replacements. ie chevy ls6 or ford cobra/mustang.

i am generally after finding out what will fit with least modification and max performance.

Least modification would be another RV8, you can get plenty more power if you don't mind spending money. If you change the base engine then unless you do it yourself you can expect to spend a lot on the conversion as well as the cost of the new engine, transmission etc.
