RV8 Timing Marks

Typically, how accurate are the timing marks on the serpentine crank pulleys, I know the traditional pulleys aren't to be trusted, are the later ones any better?

I guess the only real way to know for sure is to get my DTI out and put it down no1 cylinder.

They're completely accurate unless they're wrong.

i managed to get a depth dial gauage down No.1 to find TDC on RV8.
