I was just wondering if anyone can reccomend me a good exhaust (rear box and tail pipe) for my V-reg (99) Fiesta Zetec that will give a nice low rumbly noise. After growing up with TVRs I love the sound of a nice low exhaust note.
Anyone got any personal opinions of exhausts whihc give a low note?
Thanks.

my only suggestion would be for a full system including a decat. if you start doing half measures and getting 'sports' backboxes alone youre unlikely to get a note you really like. TBH youre unlikely to get it anyway whatever you do from a standard zetec, but the full system gives you the best chance and the cat adds issues and needs to go in the pursuit of a sexy noise.

ah, I thought it would probably be expensive.
ahwell, probably for the best, I don't have enough money for the entire system. Looks like I'll be waiting a while.
Also, when the MOT came around the CAT would have to go back in wouldn't it?

correct, although an easy enough job on most cars is still a pain and its demoralising putting a cat on and doing a good enough job to get it gas tight to take the damn thing off again 2 hours later
