Le Mans Lambo

Don't know where else to post this, though have posted in the Lambo forum too... I have just been reading the Le Mans tech regulations (I know, I know), and as I thought 4WD/AWD is still banned - any idea how the Japanese Murc entry has got around this reg? And surely modifying the drivetrain to comply is a breach in regs itself? Sorry if this is a bit dry/specific, but interested to know...

The R-GT is RWD only.

I'm pretty sure you can change the gearbox under the regulations, especially as most of the cars run sequential boxes. I think for GT2 it may be more restrictive.

Thanks both. Would a gearbox mod be sufficient to convert the car to 2WD though? Hadn't heard of the R-GT but have now Googled and found it to be the answer to my question!
