scuttle shake saab 93 se year 2000 convertible

any-body out there that understands "SCUTTLE SHAKE" ON A SAAB 93 CONVERTIBLE.
I am thinking of buying a car that has a weird kind of wobble at very low speeds just like a buckled wheel would feel and also at all other speeds. It feels possibly like a worn engine or gearbox mounting. Any info would be gratefully read.

they all do it they are a hatefull car they must have forgot to put some extra metal back in,not a good car (i owned a 9.5 and loved it),

The scuttle shake on the 9-3 convertable is infamous, the body simply doesn't have enough torsional rigidity with the roof chopped off. They also suffer very badly from cracked bulkheads around the steering rack moutnings.

Buy a different car, the older 9-3's are crap.

to buy it or not. However I will let you know either way which way
