turbo cut out

hi the vauxhall last night started to have the turbo cut out

and has got to the point where it cuts out for long times and the little car with the spanner in it lights up

any ideas??

What kind of Vauxhall is it? Sounds like the Air flow meter to me.

i think they have a boost sensor that stops any overboosting. if it does then it goes into limp home mode, or untill its sure everything is back to normal.

might be worht having a word with soem of the big Vauxhall turners about a remap. pretty sure they can turn that function off.

it was the particle filter aparently

there was a recal on this which meant that the thing should have been done before i bought it

anyway

whilst trying to make it fail again before taking it in to be fixed saturday morning i gave it a blast on the A27 and got 3 points for my troubles on my clean lisence

i am not happy
