Merc A160 tiptronic auto - clutch slipping?

I have a 1.6 A class with the tiptronic auto box. (2000 plate).

Recently the car has been playing up when pulling away from standstill or if slowing right down and then pulling away. Theengine revs build before the car suddenly moves forward. Once it is moving all is fine... tiptronic selection is not an issue. Doesn't do it all the time...

Not having a clutch start to fail on an auto box before does this sound like the symptons and anyone got any idea of the cost I can expect to pay to get it replaced?

Hopefully there will be a Mercedes Tiptronic expert along shortly but I would think that one would start with getting the transmission fluid level checked.

If the fluid level is too low or high (aerated fluid), the valves can't apply proper pressure where it is needed.
