Radiators

Hi all,

My radiator has finally died. A replacement is about UKP1-2K and will still be a steel one.

What is the best metal to use, I've heard that Brass and Alu are best?
Can anyone recommend someone, preferably in the NW, that can fab up a radiator?

Ive never seen a steel radiator before.


Do a search here...there was a topic recently were various Alloy fabricators were listed who can make rads.

I know it's not the NW but Docking Engineering at Silverstone built a bespoke aluminium one for my Griff that has lasted for 5yrs.
