Rover R 380

I have to source a s/h Rover R380 gearbox for my $.6 V8 (320 horse).

Do they vary in spec

How do you I.D. one. what seperates it from the LT77 when you look at it? I can sex chickens but I think I need some help here.

Simple difference: LT77 reverse doglegs to top left, 5th to top right. On R380 reverse is below 5th.
