I WONDERED IF THERE IS A RWD GEARBOX THAT FITS RS TURBO ENGINE ITS FOR A KIT CAR I LOOKED AT COSWORTH ENGINE BUT IT WOULD BE TO EXPENSIVE.
IT CURRENTLY HAS A 2.0 PINTO WITH TWIN CARBS CAM ETC JUST FANCY A BIT OF TURBO POWER

The CVH has same bellhousing pattern as the Pinto so will fit to your existing bellhousing/gearbox. Obviously you'll need to sort the right clutch out.

And spigot bearing in the end of the crank.

MT75 I'd have thought. No shortage of old late-model Sierras in the scrappies.

Oh and the CAPS LOCK button is on the left hand side of your keyboard in the middle.

The Type 9 will fit the CVH, but may not last long with the torque of a turbcharged engine being pushed through it. The MT75 is stronger, but quite a bit larger so you might have clearance problems if you want to fit it into a 7 type car (which don't suit turbo'd engines very well IMO).

sounds like a very nice project! you should beable to get 200bhp out of the 1600cc engine without any problems. plus if you want to get more radical there are loads of upgrade options.

be nice to see some pics of the engine in. also dose the sump clear ok??

thanks Chris.
