starting a diesel

Just had the glow plugs done on my '99 Mitsubishi L200 turbo diesel and now it starts really well but once the plug lights out should I press the accelerator or not before I crank it?

Pushing the throttle wont do anything as the pump is not turning so there is no pressure to the injectors

Just crank until it fires
