Acceleration problems

Hello there slight problem with my citroen c2 Vtr (sensodrive)
Ok This has happened a couple of times not all the time but going and coming back from Cambridge it was doing it all the way!
i go to accelerate its fine until 4k revs were the Revs drop (still accelerating) But the revs drop then shoot back up again!
Gear changes are abit erratic too! Its not the normal 1 wait a couple of Seconds for 2nd But its an instant gear change quicker than a quick shift could possibly get.
But like i say it only does it one day then its fine the next so its awfully strange!
Never a dull moment with my car seems to be in the garage more than im driving it atm! My credit card cant take much more!
Could it be the clutch saying its ready to blow? or maybe the diff. Im not too sure really.
Its still under warranty so might take it into Citroen for them to check. But i get worried if they find my Kent cams and pulleys under there they may not do the work.
iv been told it could be the fly by wire or throttle software.
Any ideas would be grateful
