Air Flow Controller
Discussion
Wondering if anyone can help on this. I bought one of these in error on ebay thinking it was an air fuel controller

It didn't come with any instructions but from what I can see is designed to work in conjunction with a standard air flow meter to fool the ECU into thinking more fuel is required. Since I have a borrowed Z32 air flow meter at the moment, having something that could work with a standard S13 afm would be handy.
The other thing is that I'm just about to buy an Apexi AVCR, so would that make this redundant? Car is a UK 200SX with a 300ZX air flow meter

That is an air fuel controller, just an older one. You should be able to pull fuel out, or put fuel in with it, can't see why it should not work with a Z32 AFM.It didn't come with any instructions but from what I can see is designed to work in conjunction with a standard air flow meter to fool the ECU into thinking more fuel is required. The AVCR is purely a boost controller, so will not make the afc redundant. But for gods sake if you alter the fueling with the AFC have a wide band up the exhaust or your liable to blow it up. Also preferable to have someone with some det cans as well.
