Engine Cutting out/Pulling at speeds
Discussion
had this problem for a while now. i First fort it might of been The lambdas so i replaced them.
The cars a 1.6 Citroen c2 VTR
To no avail. But The cars still running like a Dog the problems i have..
-Iddle is Lumpy Flits in between 0.5 RPM and 1.5RPM
-Engine will pull and Shudder
-Engine Cuts out at idle (not all the time)
-When revving there seems to be some black spots were it will feel like its holding back then will accelerate
Now i have Uprated cams and pullies Have been fine for about 6 months from having them fitted.
Iv taken it to Citroen and they wouldnt even tell me what the problem was. Could the problem lie with the cams?
Or could it be Something simple like a coilpack?
There is no Engine light on..
Can anyone help me?

Hi there
The MAF sensor is a good place to start looking, I'm not an expert on Citroen engines but if I assume that this engine has an EGR valve it certainly fits the complaint of a stuck EGR valve.
The MAF sensor and a defective EGR can have a similar complaint patern.
Hope this helps you.
