having problems with a 1998 turbo diesel jeep. came to me with alack of power as though turbo not boosting done all usual checks no vac leaks or inter intercooler probs sent turbi off for bench test, no faults found also have changed no,s one injector with electronic pick up for tdc signal.vehicle still flat as a f***t any ideas would be much appreciated.cheers.

lack of fuel pressure?
Check the fuel filter and the electric lift pump, measure the rail pressure if you can, this will need a a specialist hi press gauge tho and you may be better getting a diesel fuel injection specialist involved

As the Jeep an airmass meter? some diesel cars by default wont boost if this unit is faulty Nissan Terrano,VW/Audi TDI,s etc,car just goes into limp mode if it cant relate to the information coming from said faulty unit(no boost usually) thumbup
