Boost 'leak' & manual boost controllers
Discussion
I'm losing boost at higher RPM & have done various checks & come to the conclusion my wastegate spring is weak. Since I am very poor I can't afford an elec boost controller but have seen this at Demon Tweeks -
http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/products/ProductDeta... which appears to be the same as this one on Ebay (MUCH cheaper) -

But will it fix my problem?

As i said before chap wire it shut, set MS overbost protection to a sensible value and *gently* bring it up into boost and see if it holds pressure.
But surely all that will do is take out spark / fuel as it overboosts. Unless MS can control a solenoid valve. I'll have a look through the megamanual when I have a spare couple of hours.bertelli_1 said:
