Is anyone here using Aquamist water injection? My Aquamist pump seems to be blocked and I'm planning to dismantle it and see whether it's just calcium deposits or something more serious. However, so far I haven't found any schematics of the interior of the pump or instructions to dismantle it. ERL aren't answering email and their support forum is down so I'm hoping somebody here has already gone down this route ...

Are you using deionised water? This should stop any deposits building up. Can't say I've ever taken one apart but they aren't the most reliable items.

If you suspect calcium you could always try putting some warm vinegar through it. It shouldn't damage any internals but if you want to be cautious you could dilute the vinegar and just let it sit longer. This has got to be worth a try before getting intrusive. Compressed air or mains pressure water may also unseize it.

I wonder if one of those "HHO Hydrogen IC Boost Systems" running into the water injection would have prevented this wink

My attempts to dismantle it have got far enough to show that the central tube that runs down the middle of the pump is sealed and mechanically separate from the drive coil and control module, so if there's a mechanical problem it must be inside that central tube. There's no obvious way to get the moving parts out of the tube so I'm going to try cleaning them in situ with some descaling fluid.
