renaut diesel wont start grrrr
Discussion
need some help guys . not sure which part of ph to post this on ?
i have a renault traffic dci100 van. recently the camblet snapped, ouch.
a grand later and a new head, gaskits, a new injector and a rather fed up father (he has rebuilt it),
it wont start. grr.
the spanner symbol on the dash is illuminated.
renault tell me it should start regardless of this. my father says there sems to be no fuel to the engine, so he has checked fuses, primed it etc with no joy.
can anybody shed any light on the subject?

I'd say first thing you need to do is read the fault codes.
On Dci systems the Injectors are coded (its the calibration of the injector), this needs to be programmed into the ECU.
ETA: Also the injectors need to go back in the same order (due to the coding)
