Sounds like it could be piston slap. Basically your engine is tired out. I'll be honest i am not sure how serious this is. Could someone shed some light?

It's difficult to diagnose faults without seeing/hearing the car, but sounds like it could be hydraulic tappet.

Is the oil level o/k? If it is, I'd change the oil and filter first for what it costs.

Is it the Z12XE? Could well be the timing chain, especially given the mileage.

On the 1.2 Corsa engine it is very likely to either be the timing chain (tensioner) or the tappets.
