rev's acting strange
Discussion
hi all, great website by the way,
there seems to be a delay between me putting my foot on the accelerator and any response from the engine, i'd say around a second or 2, but enough for me to stall very easily ....
in other words, i give it a bit of gas, then .. 1 .. 2 .. then the revs kick in, its also the same when i take my foot off, or put the clutch down, the revs take a second or 2 to drop off .....
if anyone can help with this i'd be eternally gratefull, as its making it quite hard to get a bite and pull off normaly etc ...

It sounds like you have something that is not working as it should..
It could be a set-up issue - like the timing being out, something breaking down like the coil, plugs or leads.. or the advance retard not working in the distributor (if you have one..)... but it does sound like an ignition problem.
