On my Audi 80, there is a water pipe going from a t junction with the heater matrix pipe to the inlet manifold, which is leaking quite badly. Sourcing a replacement pipe isn't as easy as I'd thought, as I can't seem to find any in the scrap yards and parts places tell me it's a dealer part rolleyes

Anyway, I can't see this pipe being of much use, does anyone know if it would be a problem to just cut it off and bung it up?

Thanks for any help! thumbup

Have you been to the dealer, you never know it might surprise you and might be cheap. Better to check before you knacker the head or something else, shirley.

Check these guys, www.audivwparts.co.uk

Very helpful and good prices.

As for Audi possibly being cheap for parts.... No chance £4 +vat for those tiny dash bulbs!!!
