Hi,can anyone help?, the air air-con compressor on my audi has stopped. I thought it may just need re gassing as it hasnt been done for ages, but when i checked it the high pressure side is fine and the low pressure was to high so i released some to see if it would start but no joy!!. Ive also checked to see if the clutch is working on the compressor and thats fine. Any ideas anybody?, thanks.

prob faulty pressure switch this detects pressure in the sistem if this is faulty will stop pump from working as it cuts the power to pump or could be pump has packed up, nothing that any one with vag fault code reader can check for you at a good garage or specalist.
see vag cars anything that has a computer to control a component on the car like abs or airbags even climate control all runs through the can-bus system so any faults in the system can be easyly found and tested.

Thanks, ill get the the codes read down at the local garage. Ill be able to get any bits and fit them myself, and then it should just need a re-gas hopefully!, cheers, Nigel.
