Improve Standard Exhasust?

Hi guys,
I've a but of a numpty question for you; I own a Audi A4 V6 cab and am a bit dissapointed by the lack of V6 rumble, I like the tailpipe design and don't want to blast £££ on a new system, can exhaust specislists remove baffling from inside the back boxes or cats to free them up? would this have any improvement or just wishful thinking?
