My 500 has done a very few miles this year since its last oil/filter this time last year.

Does it still need an annual change?

If it's a centrifugal filter then I definitely would, it's air cooled so hard on oil & uses a minimal amount.

How many miles, there is no point changing oil and filter for the hell of it.

No more than 200.probably less.

My mechanic, who knows these cars very well(he's Italian and 80!years old,and was an apprentice mechanic in Italy) advised that the oil didn't need changing,I wanted some other opinions from
some people with more mechanical knowledge than me! Hence the post

Cheers
