Good source for Bosch EFI pump?
Discussion
The 044's are decent pumps and you wont go far wrong. I have seen them as low as £89 - but these are good value IMO - I think my mate used road/race/rally for his one:

Make sure you use good size inlet pipes into the pump as they tend to cavitate if too small. I used -10 fittings on the inlet.
I got the fittings from Think Automotive - here's how I assembled mine:

Fittings are determined by the pump, obviously if you put an adapter to fit smaller pipework then yes you'll introduce issues.
I assume you've got the tech sheet on Bosch pumps if not have a look here. Dependant on how efficient your lump is will determine whether the 044 will support the expected power, but it should be plenty big enough for 500hp. I'm running a smaller pump and that supports 450hp ok in a tweeked TVR AP8 lump.
