Is there supposed to be a noise in the video ?


How do you know it isnt a CV joint ?

is it like a play on your name? im dizee and so are you
seriously tho is it your astra thats making the noise or another car as i cant see any reference
half a clue would be a help

Your description has to be CV knock but may not be wear.
Jack the car up at the front and wind the steering all the way to one side. Mark the top of the steering wheel with tape. Wind to the opposite lock counting the turns. Wind back to half way.
Check to see if the wheels are straight.

I'm suspecting you are getting more lock one side than the other and taking the CV beyond its working range.

Try greasing the tip of the steering stop on the knuckle, where it will rub on the lower control arm at full lock. smile
