Quiet univesal back box

Hi,
Any ideas of where to get a pair of universal quiet back box for an LS3 V8 running 2.5" pipe - will fabriacate brackets to suit (max can diameter 7" and 22" length.)

must meet 98db and meet SVA emissions.

suggestions?

If its purely for passing a test...perhaps check out some truck/van parts suppliers. They might have something.

Jetex do a range of universal stuff in mild or stainless.

Or look in the US...there are dozens of options, at a variety of prices. However, if you are running a dual exhaust with only one silencer on each...unless you pick something pretty good ( or restrictive ) you will struggle to pass noise tests.

Or if 2 silencers in series you have more chance.

Magnaflow make some good stuff, and is what I used. I actually found their typical straight through perforated tube stype, quietened more than their chambered designs.

But even Summit etc sell their own types in mild steel..
