Anyone know of a manual gearbox that bolts straight on to a Lexus 4.0 V8 engine?
Some of the Toyota tuners might make a bellhousing for the R-154.In fact, I'd say its fairly certain they do.
You could also try Dellow or The Rod Shop in Oz, they do lots of bellhousings

Dellow or Castlemaine Rod Shop in Australia -- bellhousings for the R154 or W58 Toyota 'boxes.
www.v-eight.com -- CAD files for adaptors between the 1UZ-FE auto bellhousing and the R154 or W58.
TTC Performance in the US -- adaptor between the UZ crankcase bolt pattern and the JZ bellhousing pattern for the R154, W58, or V160/161 Getrag 6-speed.
Thor in the UK -- adaptor between the 1UZ-FE auto bellhousing and the R154.
Phil Bradshaw in New Zealand -- I don't have details.
I've seen adaptors for sale on the Trademe web site in NZ.
Rush Imports in Australia -- R154 kit, working on a Tremec T56 6-speed conversion.
Check the www.v-eight.com and Lextreme forums.

The R154 is stronger than the W58. Accepted wisdom is that the W58 is OK for the standard UZ.
