I'll bet Halfords sell one.
That looks suspiciously like the aftermarket Lucas AB13 ignition kit my brother had on his mini donkeys years ago (uses a large aluminium finned amplifier module). If that's the case then there is approximately zero chance that Halfords will stock it, and to be honest I can't imagine who else would. A regular trawl of eBay and autojumbles might turn up something I suppose.Mr2Mike said:

some outlets still have NOS Lucas so very difficult but not necessarily impossible to find
If only a local store would let me sort thro' there large box of Lucas NOS I'd at least know for sure at one outlet
I will get more info when I get a chance - I'm having too many things to do on my car at the moment, the car hates me, god hates me and I hate them at the moment (I'm prepared to forgive the car but not god or the ignorant Christians in Motorsport)
What is the application? Might be an idea to bite the bullet and get a newer system? If it's not a high performance engine then the tiny Pertronix, Aldon Igniter etc. modules are very easy to fit and not especially expensive (compared to Lumentiton anyway).
If you want to stick to the original, then providing the magnetic chopper is in good condition it doesn't look beyond the realms of possibility to modify a standard rotor arm to fit on top of it?

It's for a freind who has a b and a Spridget and possibly a third car using the system - I like the idea of adapting oneIf you want to stick to the original, then providing the magnetic chopper is in good condition it doesn't look beyond the realms of possibility to modify a standard rotor arm to fit on top of it?
I think he also wants a couple of spare to carry in the boots of the cars as the Spidget is a daily runner
I'll try and get numbers after I'm back from holiday
Thanks
