Gents,

Does anybody know or have access to a LS7 build manual? I am trying to spec an engine from off the shelf parts and I am now down to nitty gritty bits like timing chain dampers, gaskets and seals etc

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Chris

Try posting in the hsv/monaro forum, someone on there may have it.

If it's not a true ls7 then you don't need an ls7 build manual. A lot of the stuff is interchangeable from engine to engine as are torque values etc.

You will need 4.125" head gaskets and late front end parts if you are using a late block. Rest of the gaskets and bolts are common. You'll probably be using stud kits and they have their own torque values.

They're interchangeable, I stock those but you'll get them cheaper from the US with the rest of your parts.
