On a RV8 (in a TVR V8S), which will give more flexibility and low end torque? The standard fuel injection or carbs. If carbs, a single 4 barrel or 4 twin choke's? Will the carb(s) result in any loss of "driveability"? Joe

Not sure about in a car but I've found in off road land rovers the EFI system gives a much smoother range of power, and there's lots more of it.
However there's a pretty big range of carbs and manifolds availably to fit the RV8, Weber, Holley, Edelbrock, SU and i think Stromberg all work.

I'd say FI all the way especially if you use an ecu that will map the ignition rather than the clockwork rover system...

If you really want the best stick throttle bodies on there as well.... the difference in throttle response is amazing..

Concur with Graham.

Fit a DTA system with bottle throddies.

Mucho gusto then.

(and with the right DTA ECU, you can have traction and launch control too!!)

If you do go the carb route and stick a holly on there. make sure its set up properly. My mate see's a lot of Mg's that have Hollys on a V8, and they all need motor rebuilds due to borewash caused by overfueling...
