06 VW Polo 1.9TDI service indicator reset
Discussion
Hi all,
I had my 06 PD 1.9TDI Polo serviced about 11 months ago at a VW stealer using long life oil for the condition based variable service which can last up to 20,000 miles or two years. 9000 miles later, the service indicator has started to count down to the next service. I'm 99.9% sure whats happened, the numpties at the garage have set the cars computer for annual service intervals. There is no way the oil is knackered, I use the car for 35 mile motorway commutes, not start/stop short journeys. As I'm going to service the car myself from now on (the warranty runs out soon), how can I reset the service indicator, and how can I set it to condition based variable servicing indication?
Thanks in advance for any help!
