jets nedells for su carb

hi there can anyone answer this one???? ive a reliant 850 engine to which ive fitted a tubeular manifold (origenal cast one is a joke) plus wider pipe and cherrybomb endcan plus k/n air filter so air flow should be much better (in and out) carb is 1 and a 1/4inch su nedell is aat with cost of dyno time anyone got any idea what nedell to use to up fuel flow (i think 10%ish should be about right) or is there any other way to increase fuel with these su carbs

trial and error with some guesswork is the only way.


You can fit different needles....or just lightly file the back side of the needle to remove some brass, and allow more fuel flow where required.

What sort of power are you hoping to achieve? With a single HS2 carb the engine is going to be gasping for breath over 50bhp.
