vauxhall frontera 2.2 petrol

hi guys i have a friend with a frontera and it has fuel starvation problems now she has been stitched up with new pumps and stuff by some robbing git and i need to help her out asap it runs for about half hour then dies and wont start again there was fuel getting to the injector rail but i cant think of what else it could if any body nows or got any ideas then please help if you can thank you all
