What to tart up the external appreance of my alloy block - not stripping it down/rebuild just an insitu clean up

So whats the best cleaner to use gunk/parafin some form of acid

Any recommodations please

Cellulose thinners is good stuff. It works wonders with the clag inside engines as well.

Thinners is great if the engine is out of the car but in frown thinners will damage rubber/plastic inc o,ring seals if it comes into contact with for anything more than a short period & its highly volatile try this just rinse off with running water http://www.glovesnstuff.com/Magnum-Force-Extra-Tra...
