Identify the LSD - HELP!!!!
Discussion
Right my mate was sold this diff as a
"ZF Plate Diff" for an MA type gearbox (Peugeot 106/Saxo)
The garage came back and said it is nothing like the correct one...
So what my mate wants to know is what the hell it is...
Pics:

After sending a few e-mails I now know it is made by ZF but it deffinately isn't for an MA gearbox
Anybody able to identify it?

Might be a costly paperweight, unless you fancy getting my dimensions for the rough size and the size of the bearing flanges on the end there. That looks like it might go nicely in my renault box with a bit of fabrication work
When they say it's nothing like, they do know you usually have to grind a little of the casing away to get a plate diff to clear in an MA box, right?

I can get some approx dimensions if they'd be of use, I don't have any verniers I don't think (inherited tools and not sure whats there) but can use a fabric tape to wrap around for approx diameters etc.
