Siemens deka injectors
Discussion
I buy them in the USA from Marren fuel injection, www.injector.com
Mainly because I really object to European companys ripping me off for twice what they sell the same product for in the USA despite them being made in Germany. Going rate seems to be $236 (£150) for 4 in the US and £250 for 4 over here. With the duty and a bit of shipping you don't save much but there is a principle involved for me. Have used dozens of them and never had a dud yet, they are genuine Siemens injectors.

Nobody likes being ripped off for sure. But whilst Ive bought plenty from the US myself, it can be good to support local business if they are offering excellent support, even if it does cost a little extra
I currently use 16 of them. 8 shorty's and 8 full size. I admit I bought the full size ones from DTA, but that was purely as I needed them yesterday !! You cant get that sort of service from the US.
I did buy the shorty's from Racetronix though, as was in no hurry.
I had all of them fow tested after a little incident a year or two ago. I was surprised that for "flow matched" sets....they were rather lacking in matched flow.
Which was a slight concern I have to say. This did apply to both sets, not just one.
I mixed and matched as best as possible so the pairs were evenly matched. ( I cannot trim individual injectors on my setup within the ecu )

Some were around 5% although cant recall specifically.
That was tested at 30% and 50% duty cycles from what I remember. Once they got to about 80% they were almost going static at that point.
I was quite surprised really.
The guy who tested them for me didnt write down actual flow figures, just flow variances between them all.
I think a lot of the flow mathcning claims...are based on the injector at 100%. Which isnt perhaps the most reliable method, as you should never be pushing them that hard !

I guess that depends on how they do actually flow match them.
I know my set werent great when tested here in the UK as mentoned
How much fuel flow do you need ?
There may be other sources in the US, that do offer a better service when it comes to injectors. The guy that tested mine may sell some too, although he is more Subaru orientated than anything.
He sells flow matched sets, with details of any trims required, should there be variances if matching isnt possible.
Try Yawpower in the US http://www.injectordynamics.com/, or FIC http://fuelinjectorconnection.com/shop/

Hi new to the forum, I have several Siemens deka injectors but im not sure about any details except the resistance which is 12.5 Ohms and the numbers on it which arent helpful at all apart from the renault insignia, picture included might help indetify. How do I find out what the flow rate and turn on turn off times, is there a machine or a shop that can tell me?

My 60's are badged as Mototrons, which actually have siemens on the side of them.
