R1 bike throttle bodies to peugeot 2.0 16v
Discussion
Im looking at fitting R1 throttle bodies to my 307 xsi and was wondering if any body has installed something along the same lines.
Im asking as i need to know if i can run these of my standard ecu with it being remapped or do i need a stand alone ecu.
If anybody has done such a project photos and as much info as possible would be a great help cheers.

One of the first questions must be ..
1) Does the bike in question have a similar air flow requirement .. ie same max bhp.
The R1 has approx 160~180 bhp depending on year
some are carbs, some injected with ecu controller.
Pottential issues:
You would need to cast a custom manifold .. not easy.
Need to make air box / filters
What about brake servo - bikes dont have one. Each manifold would need to be tapped - linking all 4 to a connector block.
Cost of bespoke stuff is high compared to off the shelf stuff .. unless to work in a machine shop.
Custom set-up .. worth a read:
