Im having problems starting my 944 when the engine is warm,starts fine first thing in a morning,the engine turns over fine when warm,but struggles to catch.Has anyone had the same problem and what was the cure?

Needs a good check of ignition & replace if necessary. Other thoughts are possible air leak or injector leaking. CO good when MOTd?

Hi and thanks for the tips.been told to change DME relay and thats not worked.also advised on MAF been faulty and also fuel pump.The car runs perfect once started,its very frustrating.

do S2s also run a variation of the Bocsh KJet system? in which case the Warm Up Regulator and 5th injector need checking to see if they are functioning correctly.

Nope it's an electronic system, so no 5th injector. The rich mixture starting from cold could mask an ignition weakness.
It needs a careful check through as it could be lots of things.
