If you need to ask here...maybe you need to seek advice locally or get someone to do it.

In short. Everything.

If you have detailed knowledge and intend to use aftermarket management etc....you can be more selective.

And obviously some parts arent going to fit.

Turbo technics used to do a conversion for the 205 GTi. I had one and it was brilliant, had adjustable boost button too. Might be worth contacting them.

Yep,drove one of those TT 1.9 GTI's 1989 model as i remember 25mm suspension lowered 175hp high boost and 135 low boost switch-able from the factory spec switch in the centre consul, massive fun at the time and virtually invincible from the lights biggrin and looked totally stock apart from the inter-cooler sneaking out from the lower front bumper but you had to look closely wink

That's the one, cool. The switch was a dummy heated screen. Mine was an 'F' reg'. Wish I still had it.

Without being rude I guess you haven't done the conversion....

To the OP I did this myself and to be honest it is relatively straight forward, the only slightly tricky bit is the wiring.

The best answer is to go on 205gti drivers forum and reserach on there as it has loads of people have done it and the common problems and loads of info etc...

In terms of mechanical bits the only extra parts you will need are a upper engine mount off a 306xsi, mi16 clutch, the standard gti downpipe needs slightly modifying and the lower engine mount needs extending about 25mm. Apart from that it is relatively straight forward if you have the donor car.

It makes a cracking conversion and with the boost wound up to a bar they fly!!
