Corsa running problems
Discussion
I have a ‘W’ reg. Corsa 1.2 Club and it was running a bit rough so I replaced the coil packs and Cat. It then ran ok for a while then the engine management warning light came on and it would hesitate under acceleration, this mainly happens when the engine is warm. In an attempt to cure the problem I replaced the Lambda, MAF and crank sensor but the problem is still there. Anyone got any ideas before I give up and drop it off at Vauxhall?

Why do people think changing parts at total random will have any chance of fixing things ?
If you had just taken it to a competent mechanic at first, chances are it would work out far cheaper than buying random parts in a vain hope it may fix something.
Didn't really change parts at random, I did a bit of googling first and searched past threads on here to find common Corsa faults. Just didn't want to get bent over by a dealer. The parts were not really that expensive and they only cost me some dirty hands in labour. The coil pack needed to be changed as it now runs on 4 cylinders rather than 3.If you had just taken it to a competent mechanic at first, chances are it would work out far cheaper than buying random parts in a vain hope it may fix something.

google mechanics :P
You say that but someone somewhere must have posted up the correct problem/cause on the internet...google mechanics :P
Fair play for looking/trying yourself I'd say...
Beats going to a dealer without a clue and reciving one up the dirt track for your trouble.
