bike carbs on sr20

Has anyone here run an sr20 on bike carbs?

I've a set of R1 Carbs sat doing nothing and was considering fitting them to the sr20 engine, just wondering what choices I'd be looking at regarding the ignition set up, run from a trigger wheel would seem the most likely to go with?

Yea I've put a set of R6 carbs on a SR20 in a jet boat - I found a late model dist out of a mitsi turned down shaft a bit to fit and went with that,the dizzy is electronic but has mechanical advance so took care of advance curve by altering springs - still tuning carbs and timing at the moment but so far goes very well a lot more responsive up to 4k but having issues above that - more a case of getting timing right and the right needle and main jet combo - but it hauls ass in a little jet boat
