ford galaxy nightmare

Don't know where else to turn. 2007 ford galaxy 2.0 tdi jumping when accelerting through lower gears - but only sometimes. Sometimes just one or two bumps then other times quite violent and will cut out. Garage can't reproduce problem. Help please as you lot seem to know what you're talking about?

pal just had probs with his galaxy box, not teh same as your symptons but his was a £700 rebuild
i hope others can offer you better news than that

Having had problems with a previous Galaxy I'm not holding out much hope! Still under warranty so at least once they find what's wrong they should fix it but it's less than uselss to us at mo. Cheers for tht

there are 2 different gear boxes used so i'm told
1 is poooooossibly a VW unit, and is a-ok
the other is made from jelly.
