2 litre engine into XR2i

Hi all i am looking to change the standard 1.6 cvh engine in my xr2i 8v to either a 1.8 or 2 litre (mondeo/RS1800) lump but before i jump straight in i have several questions which hopefully someone can answer.
1, Do i have to cut out engine mounts and weld new in or will a specific engine mount marry up to the existing mount and new engine??
2, do i have to splice the wiring loom for the engine into my existing wiring loom or will it plug directly into what i already have or if i got a rs1800 complete loom would this all marry up ok??
3, What power gains am i looking at am i better to go for the 2 litre or 1.8 or stick with cvh and chip it etc??
4, if i went down zetec route do i have to have different radiator etc??

How about making the install simpler by going Zetec bottom end to get 2l but keeping the CVH head so all the inlet & exhaust stay the same? Not sure about the radiator etc but a quick Google for ZeVH may give you the answers you need. Plus if you go ZeVH then the XR2 Turbo kit should be almost a bolt on jobbie (excluding setting up). Then you would have a 2l Turbo motor for not a massive amount of cash.
