Corsa B Knocking Noise
Discussion
Right, my girlfriend has a Corsa B, 1.2 and 51k on the clock.
It started last night and hasn't stopped, engine stayed warm for a very long time after only 15 minutes of driving. During the drive the Oil light was coming on and off at lower revs, unsure if that could relate to the problem though. Any ideas what it could be?
I've checked the oil levels.. Thats about as far as my knowledge reaches though. Help is appreciated.
Cheers.

If the engine is knocking and the oil light is on, the bottom end is almost certainly knackered. It's probably s/h engine or new car time, it's hardly worth rebuilding it.
Tell your GF that if the oil pressure light comes on, then you stop driving.

Thanks for the reply. Sadly enough it has just been taken to the garage and they have been in touch.
She, and I, will remember that advice. Thankfully it wasn't an overly expensive car.
Looks like it's onto her second car.

How much did the garage charge you for this?
Thank You
