Is carbon Fibre heat resistant?

A newble here just after some info. My turbo heatshield is looking tatty and knackered, ive found quite a nice carbon fibre one and wondering if it would withstand the heat or will it just fry in a matter of minutes?

It depends if high temp resin was used. Zircotec do plasma coating for carbon panels now.
