MK1 Golf/MK1 Caddy short/quick shift kits.

Right guys and girls. Not entirely sure if i've posted this in the right section but it's worth a go. Was just wondering, considering the mk1 golf and mk1 caddy share alot of parts. If a quick shift attachment for a mk1 golf would fit my mk1 caddy. Throws between gears are a little too long for my liking.....
