Nissan primera 2.0.l V reg P11-144
Purchased 2 weeks ago
Idle problems, starts first time but erratic idle 2k revs going up to 3k
then when warm dropping to 800 but rev counter jumping up and down,
Thrown code for maf 0100
i cleaned iacv, reset tps, Was hoping to even out the idle speed.
Still throwing maf codes, Checked voltage at maff
Replaced with new Bosch maf yesterday but now it wont idle and came up with code 0100 Again
Faulty new maf ?
It seems primeras have a problem with mafs

I know this sounds very strange but check to see if the alternator is working correctly as I had a car with a similar fault and that was the cause.

Take out the Posative Crankcase Ventilation valve and give it a check.

More than likely an air leak. Best way to find out is to take to a garage with a smoke pro. You will know within 10mins if it is this.

My Scooby had a faulty MAF. Fitted a new one which i got from the dealer and that one was faulty too, so it can happen! Like the Primera the Impreza is prone to MAF failure too.

If you can can exchange the MAF for another for free then i guess its got to be worth a try as it aint going to cost you anything.
